My name is Murry and I came to the shelter as a stray in January 2013. I am a 2 year old male Terrier mix. I was in rough shape when I first arrived at the shelter. I was covered in burdocks and I was all matted. The shelter people even noticed a few scars and bruises on my body. So they aren't sure what happened, but they've been so nice to me and they even groomed me...no more nasty hair for me! Once they shaved me down, I felt like a million bucks! So now the shelter people are just working on socializing me. I'm a little timid, but the workers and volunteers are helping me come out of my shell. A little patience goes a long way, so I just need someone to adopt me that will be patient with me and give me lots of love!
Adoption Process: HAHS has an adoption application that you can fill out if you are interested in one of our animals. Once we receive the application we review and contact veterinary and personal references and make sure that the animal chosen is the best fit for your family and lifestyle. Our adoption fees are as follows: Dog/Puppy: $100 plus an additional $35 refundable spay/neuter deposit Kittens under 13wks :$25 plus an additional $35 refundable s/n deposit Cats: $40 plus and additional $35 refundable s/n deposit.
