My name is Dottie and I was brought to the shelter in February 2013. I am a 1 1/2 year old female Pit mix. The reason I'm here is because I was at the top of a kill list at another shelter, and since the Hornell shelter had room, they took me in. I am an energetic girl and I love to play. I need someone to adopt me that can handle me and has the time to train me. The shelter people need me to be adopted into a home without any other animals and without young children. I really need obedience training and I need to learn how to walk on a leash.
Adoption Process: HAHS has an adoption application that you can fill out if you are interested in one of our animals. Once we receive the application we review and contact veterinary and personal references and make sure that the animal chosen is the best fit for your family and lifestyle. Our adoption fees are as follows: Dog/Puppy: $100 plus an additional $35 refundable spay/neuter deposit Kittens under 13wks :$25 plus an additional $35 refundable s/n deposit Cats: $40 plus and additional $35 refundable s/n deposit.
