My name is Dottie and I have been at the shelter way too longsince February 2013! I am a 2 year old spayed female Pit. I am looking for my forever home or a foster home. If you come to the shelter to meet me, you will notice I am the pretty girl who sits so quietly in my kennel while everyone else is barking and jumping around. I am hoping someone will realize what a good girl I am and want to take me home with them. If you are looking for a girl who has lots of energy I am it! Sometimes I think they should have named me Tigger, because Tiggers bounce and so do I! If you are looking for a couch potato, I am NOT it! I am a girl on the go, and it takes a lot to tire me out. My favorite thing to do is play with my buddy Max, he cant keep up but he tries! Okay, maybe my favorite thing to do is to have my belly rubbed, I have a tattoo I like to show everyone who rubs my belly. Then again maybe my favorite thing to do is to go for car rides, I love to go for rides, sit in the backseat and look out the window, I am a very good rider! Now that I think about it, I am thinking pulling the stuffing out of my toys is my favorite thing. If there was a contest to see who can pull the stuffing out the quickest, I would win paws down! Those stuffed toys are the best, stuffing everywhere! Does a girl have to choose one favorite thing or can I change my mind?! I am a very smart girl if I say so myself! I know how to sit and walk likes a pro on a gentle leader. Everyone has been working so hard to help me become a great companion. I am not perfectmodest yes, perfect no. I need someone who understands me and is willing to work with me. I am a love bug, ask anyone who knows me. People love to hang with me in my kennel because I like to snuggle right in and before you know it, they are rubbing my belly! I told you, I am pretty smart! I need someone who is willing to get to know me and love me for who I am, and who I can be. A long term commitment and whoever makes the commitment will be rewarded with unconditional love from me!
